RAK Lab offers a wide range of civil construction material testing services to support the mining industry, the construction industry, and concrete product manufacturers. The core services offered by the construction material department includes testing of soil, aggregates, rock, concrete, steel products, asphalt, and cement, all as per ASTM, AASHTO, BS and DIN standards.

Through our many years of experience in the market and industry, the laboratory is capable to set up on-site testing laboratory to meet the requirements of the customers, consultants and contractors. On-site laboratory can vary from having the facility to undertake only the site testing to a complete full-fledged laboratory dedicated to a particular project. This will enable all the interested parties of the project to have direct access to the laboratory and also allow them to witness the complete testing process.

• Investigation and testing of building and road construction materials including asphalt and soil.
• Quality compliance testing of aggregate and rock materials to relevant specifications.

• Port sampling and testing of aggregate samples for various shipments from SAQR port, RAK Maritime city (RMC).and elsewhere
• Site sampling and laboratory testing of aggregate and rock samples.
• Dry port sampling and testing of aggregate for rail cargo.
• Coring of asphalt and concrete.  
• Field sampling and laboratory testing of bituminous paving mixture, asphalt content, stability and sieve analysis.
