RAK LAB LLC is an independent testing laboratory established in 2009 to provide the highest standard testing service for the Government and public and private sector businesses in the Emirates. RAK LAB is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by Emirates National Accreditation System (ENAS), Gulf Accreditation Center (GAC) and certified to 9001 by LRQA.

RAK Lab offers a comprehensive range of testing services in the fields of: physical, mechanical, chemical testing of construction materials, steel, rock and minerals; chemical analysis of water and waste water, diesel, oil; environmental testing; and geotechnical investigation.

RAK Lab’s skilled and experienced workforce deliver the highest quality, precise, reliable and timely results. All tests are performed to internationally accepted standards, procedures and specifications, and carried out using the latest equipment from some of the world’s leading manufacturers, in accordance with all relevant international standards and municipal specifications.

RAK Lab is owned by the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, and is the largest independent testing laboratory in the UAE, relied on by more than 1000 customers.

Processing Steps

Inital Enquiry

This inquiry can come through various channels, such as phone calls, emails, website inquiries, or in-person visits.

Quotation and Proposal

The lab prepares a quotation or proposal outlining the scope of work, the testing methods to be used, the timeline for completion, and the associated costs.

Agreement and Contract Signing

Once both parties are satisfied with the terms and conditions, an LPO, order, or contract is prepared and signed

Sample Collection and Testing

The lab performs the required tests using the specified methods and equipment, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to relevant standards.

Reporting

Once the testing is completed, the lab generates comprehensive test reports detailing the results, methodologies used, and any relevant observations or recommendations.

Invoicing and Payment

Upon completion of the testing and delivery of the test reports, the lab issues an invoice to the customer based on the agreed-upon pricing and payment terms.
